Animal Liberation by Amanda Dookie

Animal Liberation by Amanda Dookie

I was inspired to create a piece that brings awareness to animals used in brain, mental health and psychological research. In the past, animals have been subjected to some of the most heinous and inhumane experiments in the name of psychological research. While standards have improved, as researchers we should not forget that animals are sentient beings and every effort should be made to reduce the amount of suffering, fear, and invasive procedures that animals should have to endure in the name of science.
